I was in pretty poor form on the croquet lawns in 2003, but at least I was still among the prizes at Ramsgate. I won this adorable teddy bear in the raffle.

In 2012 I had further Thanet-based cuddly toy raffle success when I won Monty the dog during the interval of Horace's Palace of Fun at the Wintergardens at Margate. This was the evening before the 2012 British Minigolf Open started at Strokes Adventure Golf.
