I started playing minigolf in 2004, when I entered the World Crazy Golf championship in Hastings.
In 2006 I played in the Nations Cup and the European Championship, both of which took place in Geldrop, Netherlands, and also won the British Championship in Taunton. The following year I took part in my first World Championship, in Canegrate, Italy. I also reached the dizzy heights of 3rd place in the BMGA rankings, before ending the season in 4th.
The 2008 season started really well for me, winning the British Masters in Southend. I was then runner up in the Blackpool Open, the Midlands Invitational and the English Open, before being part of the Midlands team that won the BMGA Club Championship at Stratford-on-Avon. This took me up to 2nd place in the BMGA rankings, but I slid down the rankings while missing from the circuit due to my health problems.
It has been great to be playing again in 2012, with the highlights being 3rd place in the BMGA Doubles at Dorridge with Dave Donnelly and 3rd in the Club Championships representing the Midlands.
