I started playing Golf Croquet in April 1997, when I joined Tynemouth Castle and Priory
Golf Croquet Club. Tynemouth Castle and Priory is an English Heritage site.
In 1998 I also joined Tyneside Croquet Club and took up Association Croquet.
My current handicap is 6, having once been a 2.5, and I have a handicap of 2 for Golf Croquet.
In 2000 I represented England in the World Golf Croquet Championship in Cairo, where I finished 24th.
I finished 29th in the 2002 World Golf Croquet Championship in West Palm Beach.

Winner of the 2006 English National Golf Croquet Doubles with Chris Sheen.
Winner of the 2004 Irish Golf Croquet Open.
Winner, along with Samantha Curry, of the 2004 British Golf Croquet Open Doubles.
Winner of the 2002 Italian Golf Croquet Open.
Winner of the 2001 Belgian Golf Croquet Open.
Runner up in the Italian Golf Croquet Open 2000, beaten 7-5, 6-7, 7-6 by Chris Sheen.
Runner up in the British Golf Croquet Open 2000, losing 7-6 in the deciding game to Stephen Mulliner after leading 5-1.
Runner up in the Ramsgate International Golf Croquet Open in 2000, losing to Robert Fulford in the final.
Winner of the Lancashire Golf Croquet Open in 2000 and 2002.
Runner-up in the 1999 European Golf Croquet Championship at Royal Leamington Spa.
Third in the 1999 Yorkshire International Open Golf Croquet Championships at Ripon.
